Cookie policy

We keep this short because there isn't much to it.

1.What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Apps use similar tools, like storage on your phone, and websites can use pixels (small pieces of code) and local storage too. This policy calls all of them “cookies”.

2.What we use today

Strictly necessary, on the website. When you sign in on the website, we set cookies that keep you signed in securely (named sb-…-auth-token). They last until you sign out, or up to 400 days at most. They're only set on the sign-in and account pages: browsing the rest of the site sets none.

Strictly necessary, in the app. The app keeps your sign-in session and your preferences (name, voice, sound, length, language) in storage on your phone, so you don't have to set them up every time.

We use no analytics or advertising cookies today. Strictly necessary cookies don't need your consent, because PAU can't work without them.

3.Advertising measurement

We plan to use the Meta Pixel on our website (and, possibly later, Meta's tools in the app) to see which of our ads bring people to PAU. It would record things like “visited the site”, “created an account” or “started a subscription”, together with technical details about your browser or device.

It will only run after you say yes, wherever you live, and you can change your mind at any time. It will never record your check-ins, the feelings you pick, your reflections or anything about your meditations, and it won't run on signed-in pages (sign-in, your account, your moments) or in the check-in and player screens.

We treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a no. In the app on iPhone, it also needs you to allow tracking when your phone asks.

We'll update this page before it goes live.

4.Your choices

  • Clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. If you block the sign-in cookies, you won't be able to sign in on the website.
  • Sign out, or delete the app, to remove what it stored on your phone.
  • Turn off ad personalisation in your Meta settings, and on iPhone under Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

5.More about this

Our privacy policy explains what we do with the data itself. Questions? Write to team@everseedventures.com.
