Delete your account

You can leave PAU whenever you like, and take your data with you or have it erased.

1.How to delete it

You can delete your account for the PAU app and website, made by Everseed Ventures, yourself, at any time:

  • In the app: open the You tab, scroll to Account and tap Delete account, then confirm.
  • On the website: sign in, open You, and choose Delete account, then confirm.

It happens right away. If you sign in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm, and we also remove PAU's access to your Apple ID.

If you can't sign in anymore, email team@everseedventures.com from the email address you sign in to PAU with, and say you'd like your account deleted. We'll reply to that address to confirm before we delete anything, so no one else can delete your account, and we complete these requests within 30 days, usually much sooner.

2.Cancel your subscription first

Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. Those are managed by Apple and Google, so cancel it in your store account settings, or it may keep renewing. If we offer subscriptions on our website and you have one, we'll cancel it when we delete your account.

3.What we delete

Everything tied to your account:

  • your account, email address, name and preferences,
  • your check-ins, the feelings you picked, and your reflections and notes,
  • your meditations: their text, their audio files and the details of how they were made,
  • and we ask the providers that process data for us to delete their copies.

This can't be undone. If you come back later, you'll start a new account from scratch.

4.What we may keep

  • Copies in our encrypted backups, which are overwritten on a rolling basis and gone within 90 days.
  • Purchase and billing records we must keep for tax and accounting law, usually for up to 7 years, kept apart from your meditations.
  • A record that you asked us to delete your data and when we did it, so we can show we followed the law.
  • Anything we're required to keep by law, or to deal with a legal claim or a breach of our terms.

5.Other requests

You can also ask for a copy of your data, or to delete only some of it, such as a single reflection, without closing your account. Write to Everseed Ventures at the same address. Our privacy policy explains all your rights.
